We had the privilege of attending the Northeast Delta Human Services Authority Youth Summit in Monroe, Louisiana, where thousands of high school students gathered to learn about the dangers of impaired driving. This event held special significance for us, as Monroe is the city from which our family members were traveling when the tragic crash occurred. Sharing our story at this impactful event allowed us to honor their memory while helping to prevent future tragedies.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Monohn Prud'homme for inviting us to speak, Ladonte Lotts of JiggAerobics for energizing the audience with positivity, and MADDRAMA from Jackson State University for their powerful and emotional performance that resonated deeply with all in attendance.
We are truly grateful to Northeast Delta Human Services Authority for their unwavering commitment to this cause and for including us in this important initiative. Conversations like these have the power to save lives, and we are honored to contribute to this mission.
