What began as an act of compassion turned into something we could never have imagined. After discovering our story through social media, the team at Kendra Scott reached out in 2022 with a Give Back event to support our family during the most painful time of our lives. Since then, they have shown up for us again and again with beautiful designs that carry Lindy's name and spirit.
To date, Kendra Scott has hosted seven Give Back campaigns benefiting both our family and the Simmons 3 nonprofit. These events gave us the foundation we needed to begin our mission of preventing impaired driving and honoring Lindy, Christopher, and Kamryn. We are forever grateful for this extraordinary kindness and for the founder of Kendra Scott, who believed in our purpose before the world even knew our name.

A Personal Note About Lindy’s Love for Kendra Scott
When it came time to design the headstone for our three siblings, we knew it would be impossible to capture their faces in a way that truly did them justice. Our sister Carly, a gifted artist, created unique silhouette-style outlines for each of them. These designs feel personal and expressive, allowing their personalities to shine through in a beautifully symbolic way.
Lindy’s engraving shows her holding a camera and wearing her favorite jewelry. From the time she was little, Lindy adored Kendra Scott. She would admire the displays, dream about the pieces, and treat the brand like it was made just for her. So when it came time to design her stone, we included a necklace shaped like one of her favorite styles.
The Kendra Scott team did something we will never forget. They offered to send us a real stone to place inside the necklace on Lindy’s headstone. Because it sits in direct sunlight most of the day here in South Louisiana, the stone eventually fades over time. But every year on Lindy’s birthday, they send us a new one. She receives a Kendra Scott necklace every year, not in the way we would have planned, but in a way that still honors who she was.
This connection is incredibly special to us. It honors something Lindy truly loved and reflects the way Kendra Scott has continued to show up for our family with compassion and care.
She may not be here to wear them, but she will always be the girl with a Kendra Scott necklace on her heart. 💛
